What we are looking for :
We are seeking an Equity Product Associate to support the Fiera Apex Team (Growth Equities). This individual will contribute across business development, marketing, and client service functions, spanning multiple regions and distribution channels. The role involves close collaboration with the lead Client Portfolio Manager, investment team members, distribution partners, and marketing professionals to ensure effective communication of the team’s investment philosophy, process, positioning, and performance to both internal and external constituents.
Initially, the role will be internally focused, with the potential to evolve into a client-facing position over time.
Functions include, but are not limited to, the following :
Develop a deep understanding of the Fiera Apex platform and serve as a key liaison to the investment team.Support the lead Client Portfolio Manager (CPM) and collaborate with the firm’s distribution team to shape messaging and positioning for prospects and clients.Ensure Apex strategies remain top-of-mind across distribution professionals, equipping them to represent the strategies effectively, accurately, and credibly to prospects, intermediaries, and clients.Participate in investment meetings and periodic strategy / messaging sessions with CPMs and portfolio managers.Assist the CPM in preparing portfolio managers for client and prospect engagements and ensure timely follow-up on action items.Partner with marketing teams to develop content and provide data for marketing collateral, presentations, RFPs, database responses, and thought leadership.Provide critical input and manage key aspects of product enhancement and development initiatives in collaboration with adjacent teams.Conduct research and analysis to identify new ways to position Apex strategies for a diverse set of audiences.Prepare competitive analysis packages to support institutional and intermediary teams in promoting and building a moat around Apex investment strategies.Must have requirements to be successful in this role :
2-4 years of professional experience with a solid understanding of the investment industry and a genuine interest in public equities.Bachelor’s degree (required).Progress toward or interest in the CFA designation (preferred)Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and ExcelKnowledge of systems such as FactSet, Bloomberg, Morningstar and eVestment (a plus)Proven ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented cultureExceptional problem solving, organization and time management skillsHigh sense of urgency and degree of initiative and self-motivationResults-orientation with a high degree of professional and corporate responsibility
