WHAT YOUR DAY AS A PLUMBING SERVICE ESTIMATOR LOOKS LIKE

Here's the kind of work you'll be excited to dive into :

Evaluate plumbing projects and prepare accurate cost estimates and proposals

Analyze blueprints, project plans, and specifications to develop detailed estimates

Conduct site visits to assess scope, conditions, and feasibility

Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing

Prepare and submit professional proposals for residential and commercial jobs

Support sales and operations by identifying scope, estimating costs, and shaping bid strategies

Stay current on plumbing codes, cost trends, and industry standards

Evaluate bid opportunities and suggest cost-effective solutions or alternatives

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams

Maintain organized records of all estimates and associated documentation

WHEN YOU'LL WORK AS A PLUMBING SERVICE ESTIMATOR

This full-time project estimating role works Monday through Friday, 7 : 30 am - 4 : 00 pm.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN A PLUMBING SERVICE ESTIMATOR

We'd love to hear from you if you :

High school diploma or GED

3–5 years of experience in plumbing estimating, construction, or a related field

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Strong understanding of plumbing systems, installation methods, and applicable codes

Proficiency in estimating software (i.e., Housecall Pro) and Google Workspace

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills

Strong communication and negotiation abilities

Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy

Ability to manage multiple estimates and meet deadlines

Bonus :

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field
