HealthPro Heritage is excited to offer a flexible PRN Occupational Therapist (OT) opportunity at Mt. Carmel Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Manchester, NH. This is an excellent role for an OT who values supportive teams, consistent PRN needs, and a well-organized skilled nursing environment.

Setting : Long-Term Care

💲 Compensation : Starting at $45-$58 / hr (based on years of experience)

120-bed skilled nursing facility with a mix of short-term rehab and long-term care

Strong interdisciplinary collaboration—therapy, nursing, and administration communicate effectively and share goals

Reliable and steady PRN needs without chaotic last-minute scheduling

📅 Role Overview

PRN / As-needed hours—great for supplemental income or flexible scheduling

Treat a diverse skilled nursing caseload including ADLs, self-care, strengthening, cognitive interventions, and functional mobility

Collaborate closely with PTs, SLPs, and nursing to develop resident-centered care plans

Opportunity for additional PRN shifts at nearby partner facilities (optional)

Responsibilities

  • Patient Assessment : Patient Assessment : Evaluate clients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities using observations and standardized tools.
  • Treatment and Education : Create personalized treatment plans to meet clients' goals and enhance their functional abilities. Educate clients and their families on improving daily activities, including the use of adaptive equipment and environmental modifications.
  • Documentation : Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Advocacy and Support : Advocate for clients' needs and support them in accessing community resources, services, and accommodations.

    • Qualifications

  • Education : Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Licensure : Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist, or license eligible
  • Skills : Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills. Proficient in developing and implementing effective treatment plans. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.
  • Physical Requirements : Ability to lift and assist patients as needed. Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to therapy.
