Buyer / Planner And Scheduler

Responsible for managing the procurement and planning of materials, ensuring that inventory levels meet production and operational needs by analyzing demand forecasts, negotiating with suppliers and coordinating with internal teams. Responsible for planning and coordinating production schedules to ensure efficient use of resources and supply continuity.

Buyer / Planner

• Run and analyzes raw material dashboard (MRP tool) and identifies actions to follow including but not limited to : placing new orders, pushing the delivery of existing orders, etc.
• Manage Purchase Orders for site goods and services (creation, modification, cancelation).
• Track open Purchase Orders and assesses / communicates impact as applicable.
• Manage site Incoming Inspection Priority List.
• Manage site expired materials process (inventory replenishment / scrap).
• Key contact for all material & supplier related issues.
• Support purchasing activities for all site departments.
• Lead escalation and communication of supply risks and disruptions to leadership.
• Participate in production / quality related meetings and coordinates changes to current / active schedules.
• Track materials cost and analyses / communicates PPV. Work with the commodity manager to lead supplier negotiations and achieve annual cost saving initiatives for direct spending.
• Manage site Cycle Count process and coordinates execution with the different groups.
