Schedule Information : Night shifts with 8 and 12-hour rotations, weekend and holiday rotation required.

Unit Overview : Join our dynamic 24-bed Neurosurgical Unit, caring for a diverse and complex patient population, including :
Post-operative care for craniotomies, AVMs, and tumor resections.Patients undergoing cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine surgeries.Participants in our Comprehensive Stroke Program, including hemorrhagic and ischemic stroke patients.High volume of cases involving cervical and spinal surgery, alongside medical overflow patients.Your Role Includes :
Delivering and coordinating comprehensive, evidence-based patient care.Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, therapeutic, and compassionate care.Applying clinical judgment, communication, and critical thinking to achieve optimal patient outcomes.Enhancing the patient experience across the care continuum.Why Join Our Team?

Utilize the nursing process to assess and plan individualized patient care, involving patients and their families.Recognize and address significant changes in patients' conditions, adapting care plans as necessary.Implement strategies to enhance patient safety and readiness to learn.Coordinate discharge planning effectively with an interdisciplinary approach.Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care outcomes.Qualifications Required :
Registered Nurse license in the applicable state and current BLS certification.Completion of an accredited nursing program.At least 1 year of clinical nursing experience preferred.Skills and Abilities :
Demonstrated holistic patient care and communication skills.Proficient in electronic medical records and computer use.Ability to create supportive relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.Excellent organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving capabilities.This position requires physical stamina, including the ability to lift patients and actively participate in their care. A commitment to patient safety and an understanding of growth and development principles are essential to providing age-specific care.
