Piper Companies is currently seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer an established pharmaceutical company. This role is % onsite in Athens, GA.

Responsibilities of the Supplier Quality Engineer :

  • Responsible for establishing quality expectations of suppliers, and supplier process changes
  • Evaluate potential and existing suppliers to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Develop and maintain supplier evaluation and selection processes.
  • Conduct supplier audits to assess their quality systems and processes.
  • Identify and address potential quality risks in the supply chain. Lead supplier visits of all quality system categories to assess compliance to process excellence

Qualifications of the Supplier Quality Engineer :

  • Over 3 years of experience in Supplier Quality Management.
  • In-depth understanding of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and FDA regulatory requirements.
  • Hands-on experience in operational source quality activities.
  • Bachelor of Science degree in a relevant field.
