We are seeking a highly skilled FP&A Lead with strong expertise in financial oversight, budget management, and vendor relations to oversee our IT organization's financial operations within the insurance sector. The ideal candidate will ensure optimal allocation of IT financial resources, implement robust cost control measures, and provide strategic financial guidance to support IT initiatives that align with business objectives.
What you'll do?
- Develop and manage comprehensive IT budgets, including forecasting, allocation, and tracking of expenditures across all IT departments
- Oversee vendor management processes including contract negotiations, SLA monitoring, and cost optimization strategies for IT service providers Implement financial controls and governance frameworks to ensure compliance with corporate financial policies and regulatory requirements
- Conduct regular financial analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities, optimize IT spending, and maximize return on technology investments
- Prepare and present detailed financial reports and dashboards for executive leadership, highlighting budget variances and financial performance metrics
- Collaborate with IT leadership to develop financial strategies that support technology roadmaps and digital transformation initiatives
- Lead financial planning for IT capital expenditures and operational expenses, ensuring alignment with business priorities
- Manage procurement processes for IT assets and services, ensuring best value and compliance with organizational policies
- Develop and maintain financial risk management strategies for IT investments and vendor relationships
Requirements
7+ years of experience in financial management within IT organizations, preferably in the insurance industryStrong understanding of IT financial management principles, budgeting methodologies, and vendor management practicesProven track record in cost optimization and financial analysis for technology investmentsExperience with financial management systems and IT financial reporting tools AWAC : 56151.1Excellent negotiation skills with demonstrated success in vendor contract managementStrong leadership abilities with experience managing finance teams in complex organizationsAdvanced Excel skills and proficiency with financial management softwareBachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or CPA preferredKnowledge of insurance industry financial regulations and compliance requirements a plus
