[job_card.job_description]A strong and thorough understanding of the industry and home systems. Must have at least 5 years' experience in residential remodeling and 10 years in the trades. Ability to instruct others. An ability to work independently and make decisions. A valid license and a clean driving record. Must have the necessary power and hand tools to perform basic home maintenance. Able to pass drug and background check. Basic administrative, computer and arithmetic skills to accurately prepare invoices and track paperwork. Strength, balance, and agility sufficient to work at gutter-level heights, dig postholes, and move around in confined spaces such as attics and crawlspaces. A lively, fun, outgoing demeanor with sales skills. Must live within 30 miles of Seattle. Medical / Dental / Vision. 401k company match at 4%. Paid vacation at 10 days your first year. Sick leave at 7 days per year. Paid Holidays 11 (includes 4 days between Christmas and New Years Day). Cell phone allowance of $50 per month. Tablet reimbursement. Tuition reimbursement (related to the job). Communication training. Potential bonuses.
Responsibilities :
- Perform a broad range of light remodeling tasks, confidently, without supervision, while maintaining Gaspar's quality and customer service standards.
- Demonstrate craftsman carpentry skills in high-end homes.
- Develop creative solutions when confronted by unique problems.
- Perform various tasks from rough finish carpentry, drywall, painting, rot / leak detection repair, light electrical, light plumbing, light tilling window, and door installation.
- Supervising subcontractors and providing excellent communication and understanding with customers.
- Other duties as assigned.
