Interim Controller

We are seeking an experienced Interim Controller to provide leadership and oversight of financial operations for a dynamic, mission-driven university.

Key Responsibilities :

• Oversee all financial functions, including GAAP financial reporting, month-end / year-end closings, audit preparation, tax filings (e.g., 990s), and external reporting.
• Manage accounts payable / receivable, payroll, general ledger, fund management, and investment accounting. Act as liaison to insurance companies and investment consultants.
• Partner with the VP of Administration and Finance to support treasury activities, including cash management and investment reporting.
• Prepare materials for Board Committees (Audit, Finance, Investment).
• Oversee departmental and institutional budgets.
• Serve as fiduciary and voting member of the University's Retirement Plans Committee.

Qualifications :

$175,000 - $200,000 a year
