As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at a prominent retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. This position requires carrying a firearm and operating a vehicle as part of your daily responsibilities. What You'll Do :

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.

Monitor for suspicious activity and report any security-related concerns or incidents according to established protocols.

Assist with access control and help to deter theft or loss prevention issues within the retail environment.

Support emergency response efforts, including coordination with law enforcement or emergency personnel when required.

Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and observations as required by Allied Universal and site policies.

Communicate clearly and courteously with store staff, management, and visitors to support a secure and welcoming environment.

Minimum Requirements :

Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or 5 years of Armed security-related experience.

Possess an armed guard card or license as required by law.

Be at least 21 years of age.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Possess a Level III armed certification if required by the state of Texas.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
