Direct Support Professional (DSP) – Oregon Locations

What You’ll Do

• Support individuals with daily living activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and household tasks.
• Encourage independence and self-advocacy in a respectful, person-centered way.
• Participate in community activities, recreational outings, and social events with the people you support.
• Collaborate with a caring team of professionals to deliver high-quality, individualized care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of client progress, health, and activities.

What We’re Looking For

• Education : High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience : 12+ months in a group home or similar care setting preferred.
• High Medical Care : Experience with G-tubes, feeding tubes, catheter care
• Skills & Traits : Compassionate, patient, adaptable, and an excellent communicator.
• Certifications :
• Current CPR & First Aid (or ability to obtain prior to hire)
• Oregon Intervention System (OIS) certification (or ability to obtain prior to hire)
• DSP Tier 1 & Tier 2 Core Competencies (or willingness to complete training)
• Other Requirements :
• Valid driver’s license (minimum 6 months) and reliable transportation
• Clean driving record
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
