Sr. Pricing Analyst

The Sr. Pricing Analyst prepares various types of proposals for development, production, and competitive contracts works on large / complex proposals. One has a strong understanding of estimating & pricing principles and demonstrates application through hands-on experience. In this role, the Sr. Pricing Analyst leads and supports reviews of all estimates prior to delivery and review by senior management.

Position Responsibilities

• Reviews Requests for Proposals (RFP) and proposal documents for compliance to customer specifications / requirements and adherence to company policy
• Provides regular and ad hoc pricing analysis and presents cost estimates to management, customer representatives and government audit agencies
• Prepares and validates cost estimates for sustainment, engineering and manufacturing labor, materials, subcontracts and vendor data, parts & equipment
• Identifies cost and price risks and applies to estimates where applicable
• Supports DCAA audits and assists with contract negotiations as necessary and liaises between operations and other support organizations for estimating instructions and pricing
• Performs analysis of cost estimates identifying inconsistencies and issues. Develops different cost estimation projects and procedures for final approval by management
• Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors
• Determines methods and procedures on new assignments and may coordinate activities of other personnel (Team Lead)
• Other duties as assigned
