Responsibilities Inpatient rehab unit in a hospital setting Work schedule is 5x8 hour day shifts, 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM Weekend shifts required on a rotating basis Preferred coverage for every other holiday No call or floating required Typical patient ratio is 1 : 5, with 7-8 visits per day Patients primarily include those with stroke, amputations, and post-surgical needs Specialized procedures include gait training, therapeutic exercise, balance, transfer training, family training, and discharge planning Utilizes Lite Gait body weight support and treadmill equipment Weekly team conferences for reporting patient plan of care and progress Cerner EMR system experience required Primary responsibilities include evaluation, treatment, and discharge planning for inpatient rehab patients Participation in weekly interdisciplinary team conferences required Pre-employment online training modules must be completed prior to start, with 3-8 hours expected Compliance with professional conduct standards is strictly enforced Return staff policy requires a 3-year break before returning as a traveler Maximum 10 days requested time off allowed; holiday RTO requests require willingness to work at least 1 of 3 holidays Requirements Active or pending state PT license required if applicable Current BLS certification required Minimum of 1 year of recent inpatient rehab PT experience Cerner EMR experience required Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible First-time travelers are accepted Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-632918.
