Platform Engineer

A company is looking for a Platform Engineer 2 to enhance the resilience of its platforms across data centers and the cloud.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain a scalable and secure VMware VDI environment

Monitor and optimize virtual desktop pools for performance and user experience

Lead infrastructure migration to resilient on-premises and cloud platforms

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline; equivalent experience acceptable

Detailed knowledge and hands-on experience with VMware and / or Citrix products

Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including DNS, TCP / IP, and routing protocols

Working knowledge of the ITIL framework, including change and incident management

Experience installing and configuring Dell systems; Cisco UCS experience is a plus
