About the Role

Platinum Enterprises is seeking a reliable and experienced CDL Class B Dump Truck Driver to join our team in the Raleigh, NC area. This role is essential for supporting construction, demolition, and infrastructure projects by ensuring the timely and safe transport and dumping of materials (including dirt, gravel, asphalt, and debris).

The ideal candidate possesses a strong commitment to safety, professionalism, and adherence to all local and federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

Operation : Safely and efficiently operate a CDL Class B dump truck.

Transport : Haul and dump various construction materials (sand, asphalt, dirt, aggregate, debris) to and from job sites in the greater Raleigh metro area.

Safety & Compliance : Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections (DVIRs), maintain accurate daily log books (ELD compliance if required), and adhere to all DOT, local, and company safety regulations.

Vehicle Maintenance : Maintain the cleanliness of the truck and report any mechanical issues, necessary repairs, or service needs immediately to the shop foreman.

Site Coordination : Work collaboratively with site supervisors and construction crews regarding material placement and job site logistics.

Required Qualifications

Licensing (Mandatory) : Must possess a current and valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) – Class B (or higher).

Experience : Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial dump truck driving experience.

Physical Requirements : Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical labor related to coupling / uncoupling, securing loads, and clearing obstructions.

Driving Record : Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).

Screening : Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and DOT physical.

Night Time driving position.
