Junior Security Analyst

A company is looking for a Junior Security Analyst to join their cybersecurity team.

Key Responsibilities :

Continuously monitor network traffic and security systems for suspicious activities and review alerts from SIEM tools

Assist in the initial triage and investigation of security incidents, documenting findings and supporting senior analysts

Conduct vulnerability scans, implement security controls, and maintain security documentation and standard operating procedures

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field

0-2 years of experience in IT or security operations, with exposure to network diagnostic and monitoring tools

Basic understanding of networking protocols (TCP / IP, OSI model) and operating systems (Windows / Linux)

Familiarity with common security tools (SIEM, antivirus, intrusion detection systems)
