[job_card.job_description]Overseeing the proper working order of equipment and arranging for repairs and maintenance as needed. Managing cash-handling procedures and completing end-of-day reconciliation paperwork. Scheduling events, negotiating details, and forecasting work schedules with restaurant needs and labor cost objectives in mind. Maintaining cleanliness and efficiency, ensuring the team follows procedures for restaurant appearance, sanitation, and preventative maintenance. Collaborating with team members on menu planning and establishing efficient workflows. Implementing procedures for ingredient usage, food portions, production sequencing, and workstation arrangements to ensure quality and consistency. Promoting a positive and productive work environment, mentoring staff, and providing opportunities for growth and development. Addressing workplace issues proactively, including product waste and employee theft, and performing disciplinary actions when necessary. Engaging with customers to ensure excellent service is provided by the food service staff and stepping in to assist whenever needed. Proven experience in food service management or a similar supervisory role. Strong leadership skills and the ability to foster a team-oriented environment. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to multitask and manage time effectively. Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures. Must be available to work nights and weekends.
