Description : Clinical
- Deliver direct nursing care to patients utilizing the nursing process.
- Assess patient upon arrival at the Center and throughout entire stay at the Center.
- Prepare rooms, equipment and supplies to accommodate the patient load.
- Assist physician with procedures as needed.
- Monitor patient before, during and after procedure. Apply appropriate monitoring devices.
- Provide patient education.
- Clean disinfect and / or sterilize instruments and equipment.
- Document on all forms as required.
- Supervise activities of LPN and / or non-licensed personnel.
- Administer medications as directed by their physician under the guidelines of the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing.
Interpersonal
Maintain open and positive communication with nursing personnel and other health professionals.Communicate with patients, families / significant others.Maintain professionalism within the center.Maintain confidentiality of patient and personnel information.Participate in continuing education programsParticipate on committees as assigned.Perform other duties as assigned, within the capacity of individual knowledge and expertise.Medical Specialty :

Requirements :
Graduate of accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred.
Current State Registered Nurse Licensure
Current BLS / ACLS certification
Minimum of one year nursing experience in an ambulatory care setting preferred.
