CornerStone Staffing is seeking a highly experienced Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of modern, scalable, and high-performance solutions across web and mobile platforms. This role requires a seasoned technical leader with deep expertise in cloud technologies (Azure preferred) , modern software architecture, and enterprise-level system design.

The ideal candidate excels in translating business needs into robust, secure, and maintainable technical solutions while guiding engineering teams toward technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and own the end-to-end solution architecture across multiple systems and platforms.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and infrastructure teams to design cloud-native and modern application solutions.
  • Translate business requirements into technical designs, architecture diagrams, and implementation blueprints.
  • Evaluate and recommend cloud and on-premises technologies aligned with project goals.
  • Ensure scalability, performance, and reliability using best-practice architectural principles.
  • Provide hands-on technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to development teams.
  • Review designs and code to ensure alignment with architectural standards.
  • Drive innovation through POCs, modernization efforts, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field.
  • 10+ years of experience in Solution Architecture or Senior Software Engineering roles.
  • Strong understanding of modern frontend and backend stacks, cloud-native architecture, and networking fundamentals.
  • Proven experience delivering digital solutions for consumer-facing web and mobile products.
  • Hands-on experience in Azure (preferred) or AWS / GCP.

  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to balance business context and technical complexity.
