Job Title

Performs diversified clerical duties including but not limited to typing, taking dictation, scheduling appointments, maintaining files, etc.

Job Responsibility

Performs diversified clerical duties which may include but are not limited to :

  • Typing various correspondence, reports, articles, etc.
  • Scheduling appointments, meetings, etc.
  • Maintaining files.
  • Takes minutes at meetings.
  • Receptionist duties.
  • Record keeping.
  • Patient filling, collecting payments.
  • Preparation of statistical data and completion of reports as needed.
  • Keeps inventory of supplies.
  • Orders supplies.
  • Miscellaneous duties related to dept.
  • Performs related duties, as required.

Job Qualification

High School Diploma or equivalent, required. Working knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), required. Knowledge of medical terminology obtained through six (6) months related coursework, secretarial training, and / or medical secretarial experience. Typing 50 wpm, required. Demonstrated knowledge of medical billing and insurance forms, as required by department. Ability to communicate effectively.

The salary range and / or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future. When determining a team member's base salary and / or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, negotiated contracts, budget and internal equity). The salary range for this position is $28.71-$30.78 / hour.
