[job_card.job_description]Oversee purchasing activities for various departments ensuring timely, cost-effective procurement. Represent Cornerstone Caregiving professionally in all interactions with vendors. Assess current vendor relationships and seek new opportunities for cost savings and service improvements. Challenge existing processes and vendors to ensure optimal decision-making and value for the organization. Spot inefficiencies and recommend procurement solutions across the organization. Maintain precise records of purchases, pricing, and vendor performance metrics. Work collaboratively across departments to understand needs and assist in strategic sourcing initiatives. Effectively manage multiple priorities in a dynamic work environment. Exceptionally organized and detail-oriented. Clear and confident communicator. Professional and respectful in all interactions. Proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership. Ability to work independently while enjoying collaboration. Curious and continuously seeking improvements in systems and outcomes. Previous procurement or purchasing experience, particularly in healthcare or service-oriented sectors. Experience in negotiating vendor contracts and pricing. Comfort with data analysis, contract management, and budget oversight.
