Afterschool Sports Instructor

Description:

Beginners Edge Sports Training (B.E.S.T.) is seeking energetic, reliable, and passionate Youth Sports Coaches/Instructors for our After-School Enrichment Programs. Coaches will deliver fun, age-appropriate, and skill-building sports activities following the B.E.S.T. curriculum. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead structured sports classes for elementary-aged children after school.
• Arrive 30 minutes prior to class for setup and prep (paid).
• Ensure a fun, inclusive, and safe environment.
• Communicate professionally with school staff, parents, and participants.
• Represent B.E.S.T. with energy, enthusiasm, and professionalism.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
• Positive, team-oriented attitude with adaptability.
• Punctual, dependable, and able to manage a group independently.
• Ability to engage and motivate young children in a structured setting.

Requirements:

• Reliable transportation to travel to assigned school sites.
• Must obtain (or be willing to obtain) an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Previous experience working with children in sports, education, or recreation settings preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to run, play, and demonstrate sports drills with participants.
• Ability to stand and move for extended periods.
• Lift, carry, and set up equipment (up to 40 lbs).

? Work Environment:

• Classes held indoors or outdoors, depending on school facility and season.
• Some coaches may work at multiple locations depending on scheduling and availability.
