Comfortable working with data, reports, and tracking donor activity. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. A collaborative mindset, positive attitude, and genuine interest in nonprofit development.
Development Associate
LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a mission-driven nonprofit organization in New York City to help identify a Development Associate to join their growing team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about fundraising, donor engagement, and supporting programs that positively impact the community.
The Development Associate will support development operations, donor relations, events, and fundraising activities. This is a great opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, proactive, and looking to grow in the nonprofit development space.
Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day development operations, including gift processing, acknowledgments, and maintaining donor records in the CRM.
- Assist with drafting donor communications, appeal letters, and stewardship materials.
- Help coordinate fundraising campaigns, annual appeals, and special initiatives.
- Prepare reports, donor lists, and data pulls for leadership, board members, and grant submissions.
- Support planning and logistics for fundraising events, community programs, and donor meetings.
- Conduct prospect research to identify new donors, partners, and funding opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather program updates, impact stories, and outcomes for donor messaging.
- Provide administrative support to the development team and contribute to process improvements.

Pay Details : $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
