We currently have clinics located in Boulder (2 locations), Louisville, Longmont, and Erie.

Summary :

Boulder Medical Center (BMC) is seeking experienced Medical Assistants and / or experienced medically trained candidates to join our local Resource Team! This is a benefits-eligible position working full-time, Monday through Friday. This position is based at our Louisville clinic location at 80 Health Park Dr., Suite 100, Louisville, CO 80027.

  • Day shift schedules.
  • Experience working in both primary care and specialty care clinics.

    • Job Duties :

  • Perform clinic administrative duties, including but not limited to, answering incoming telephone calls, obtaining and / or verifying patient information, patient check in / out, coordinate and facilitate accurate patient appointment
  • Obtain patient medical history, vital signs, chart preparation, medication dosage and frequency, patient allergens, and assist with medical examinations
  • Maintain accurate and strict confidentiality of patient information in electronic and / or manual systems as established by the appropriate protocols, regulations, and policies
  • Preparing examination room, ensuring proper equipment is present and room is adequately stocked
  • Document all aspects of the patient encounter on an electronic medical record system
  • Must be able to recognize and identify patient's symptoms and use appropriate professional judgment in course of action.
  • Must have reliable transportation and the ability to travel to and work at all four (4) BMC sites, as assigned.
  • Must be available by phone to accept assignment changes as needed.

    • Education Requirements (one of the following options) :

  • Completion of Medical Assistant education.
  • Certification is not required but preferred.
  • Other completed medical training, education, and proof of active certification is an acceptable substitution of Medial Assistant specific credentials. Must have worked with the certification 1-2 years (Examples include but are not limited to : EMT, Surgical Tech, CNA, etc.).
  • Military medical training and education with supporting documentation is an acceptable substitution of Medial Assistant specific credentials.
  • College graduates with a completed four (4) year bachelor's degree is an acceptable substitution of Medial Assistant specific credentials.
  • College transcripts must reflect completed health science course work. Please submit a copy of your unofficial college transcripts at the time of applying.

    • Experience :

  • Previous experience as a Medical Assistant (MA) in a clinic setting, 1-2 years a must

    • The starting hourly pay range for this position is commensurate with experience :

  • $18.91 - $25.21 / hour (full pay range is $18.91 - $28.36)

    • This position will be posted for a minimum of three days, subsequently until filled.
