Product Engineering Co-Op

Job Summary :

We are seeking a motivated and versatile engineering professional with a background in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Product Engineering to join our team. This role offers a dynamic blend of hands-on manufacturing experience, tool development, cost analysis, and global collaboration. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, adaptable, and ready to contribute across multiple engineering functions.

Key Responsibilities :

Time Studies & Floor Data Collection :

Collaborate with manufacturing managers to conduct time studies using the Monarch System. Verify and analyze data directly on the production floor.

Tool Development & Data Extraction :

Support the front-end engineering team by developing tools for quoting and referencing past products. Extract information from engineering prints and CAD files to populate searchable summary tables.

Cost Updates :

Update and maintain cost data within the engineering application. Perform manual lookups and integrate current cost structures into the system.

CAD Modeling & Drawings :

Utilize SolidWorks to create and revise simple CAD drawings as needed.

Cross-Functional Exposure :

Rotate across teams and projects to gain broad experience and avoid stagnation.

Preferred Qualifications :

Working towards a Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Product Engineering

Experience or coursework in time studies, CAD modeling (SolidWorks), and cost estimation

Strong analytical and organizational skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams

Interest in global manufacturing and engineering processes
