Heavy Industrial Assembler

Location : Rockford, IL

Schedule : 2nd Shift (2 : 00 PM – 10 : 30 PM or 4 : 00 PM – 2 : 30 AM)

Type : Contract-to-Hire

As a Heavy Industrial Assembler , you’ll work hands-on with mechanical components, tools, and systems to create high-quality equipment that meets precise specifications. What You’ll Do

• Assemble heat treat furnaces using hand and power tools (drill motors, jig saws, Sawzall, stud guns).
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and bills of material to ensure accuracy.
• Plan layouts, position parts, and determine assembly sequences.
• Perform pipe cutting, threading, and fitting for water, gas, air, and exhaust systems.
• Assemble tanks, pumps, pneumatic air systems, and panels.
• Verify product conformance and complete build checklists.
• Prepare equipment for shipment after testing and teardown.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $28.00 / hr.
