Duties and Responsibilities Lead and motivate small groups in energizing fitness classes, such as Yoga, Boot Camp, Functional Movement, Meditation, Holistic Health, Pound Fitness, or other strength, cardio, and flexibility-based activities.
Foster a welcoming and supportive environment that encourages community members to reach their fitness and overall health and wellness goals.
Typical Qualifications Passionate & Certified: Minimum 6 months - 1 year of group fitness instruction experience (required).
Specialty certifications in Yoga, Bootcamp, Functional Movement, Pound Fitness, Mindfulness Activities, or similar preferred.
Additional Information ADA and Other Requirements: Positions in this class typically require climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, seeing, and repetitive motions.
Light Work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, or up to 10 pounds of force constantly, to move objects.
Working Conditions: The worker is subject to both environmental conditions: Activities occur inside and outside.
