Overview

Exciting opportunity for an On-Site Occupational Therapist in a Public School setting!

Start date : ASAP until May 27, 2026.

  • Provide direct therapy and assessments for students in K-12th grade.

Position Overview :

We are seeking a dedicated On-Site Occupational Therapist to join our team, playing a key role in helping students achieve their developmental and educational goals.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students’ motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities.
  • Create individualized treatment plans collaboratively with students, parents, and school staff.
  • Implement evidence-based interventions tailored to students' unique needs.
  • Monitor and document progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Provide consultation and support to teachers on strategies to enhance student participation in class.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive student support.
  • Participate in IEP meetings to contribute to educational planning.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and progress reports.

    • Qualifications :

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field.
  • Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Experience in school or pediatric occupational therapy settings.
  • Knowledge of pediatric assessment tools and therapeutic techniques.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with sensory integration therapy and other therapeutic modalities is preferred.

    Physical Requirements :

    This role requires the employee to stand, walk, and move throughout the school. Effective communication with students, staff, and parents is essential. The employee may need to lift objects weighing up to 25 pounds and may occasionally need to bend, stoop, kneel, or crouch. Physical stamina is necessary to engage with students throughout the school day. Reasonable accommodations will be provided for individuals with disabilities.
