Digital Program Manager
IPERS is looking for an innovative Digital Programs Manager (Management Analyst 3) who will help us enhance and build our digital environments. This role is all about strategically guiding IPERS' transition to a more digital experience for members and employers. The successful candidate will be a big thinker who understands a realm of digital best practices and how they support effective customer service, communication and education. A team player is essential, as the employee will collaborate with various work groups to creatively solve customer service, communication and education challenges, using data to inform ideas. General responsibilities include :
- Shape IPERS' digital experiences : The employee will be at the forefront of planning, executing and optimizing IPERS' digital assets, and will drive DX / UX initiatives to ensure members and employers enjoy seamless, accessible and user-friendly interactions.
- Lead website innovation : Manage the CRMs that create IPERS' Drupal internet and SharePoint intranet sites and the associated AI chat bot.
- Streamline communications : Manage forms, letters and digital documents to ensure effective and efficient communication.
- Champion compliance & best practices : Ensure all digital assets meet accessibility standards and industry-leading best practices.
- Be the digital expert : This subject matter expert will understand, recommend, implement and manage technologies that strengthen IPERS' digital presence now and in the future, and will create the policies and procedures that direct IPERS' use of each technology.

Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a degree in any field, and experience equal to three years of full-time work in project management; management analysis; data science; business systems analysis; or professional-level program administration, development, or operations.All of the following (a and b) : Three years of full-time work experience in project management; management analysis; data science; business systems analysis; or professional-level program administration, development, or operations; and A total of four years of education and / or full-time experience (as described in part a), where thirty semester hours of accredited college or university coursework in any field equals one year of full-time experience.All of the following (a, b, and c) : One year of full-time work experience in project management; management analysis; data science; business systems analysis; or professional-level program administration, development, or operations; and A total of four years of education and / or full-time experience (as described in part a), where thirty semester hours of accredited college or university coursework in any field equals one year of full-time experience; and A total of two years of graduate-level education and / or full-time experience (as described in part a), where twenty-four semester hours of accredited graduate college or university coursework in business administration, industrial management, statistics, natural science, or a closely-related field equals one year of full-time experience.Current, continuous experience in the state executive branch that includes six months of full-time work as a Management Analyst 2 or two and a half years as a Management Analyst 1.Why Choose the State of Iowa?
