Experience in facility services janitorial commercial real estate or related fields preferred. Proven ability to write and present compelling proposals. Experience pricing labor within proposals is a plus. Hunter sales mentality with a goal-driven self-motivated approach. Strong presentation skills in group settings. Highly organized and efficient with the ability to manage multiple prospects. Collaborative team player with strong internal partnership skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce (or similar CRM). Results-oriented with a track record of high performance and sales recognition.
Description
Position Summary
As a Senior Business Development Manager you will be responsible for identifying and securing new commercial and industrial accounts within a defined territory. Youll promote ABMs Onsite Facility Servicesincluding Cleaning Environmental Parking and Engineeringby crafting tailored solutions that address client needs and drive value.
This role requires a strategic thinker and relationship builder who can collaborate with operations teams lead the sales process and maintain strong client partnerships while cross-selling ABMs full suite of services.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute short- and long-term sales strategies to grow territory revenue.
- Prospect new business through cold calling networking and lead generation.
- Create and present customized proposals using ABM-branded materials.
- Conduct facility walk-throughs and assess current service programs.
- Collaborate with operations teams to ensure strategic and financial alignment.
- Negotiate contracts and manage client transitions to operations.
- Build a strong network of industry contacts community partners and prospective clients.
- Maintain accurate records in Salesforce and manage assigned budget.
- Support marketing campaigns and monitor competitive landscape.
- Provide training and share competitive intelligence as needed.
