Experienced Veterinary Technician Wanted Join Our Team!

The Animal Hospital of Los Lunas is looking for a dedicated and experienced Veterinary Technician to join our team! We are a busy small-animal practice providing wellness care, diagnostics, dentistry, surgery, laser therapy and client education for dogs, cats & small farm animals. Our team is compassionate, hardworking, and committed to providing the best care to our patients and clients.

What Were Looking For :

• Minimum 2+ years of veterinary technician experience
• Strong skills in anesthesia monitoring, dentistry, radiology, laboratory work, and patient handling
• Excellent communication and client service skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment
• Dependability, attention to detail, and a positive attitude

Responsibilities Include :

• Assisting veterinarians in exams, treatments, and surgeries
• Monitoring anesthesia and ensuring patient safety
• Performing dental cleanings and dental radiographs
• Collecting samples, running in-house labs, and preparing send-out tests
• Placing IV catheters, administering medications, and providing nursing care
• Educating clients on preventive care and treatment plans
• Maintaining accurate medical records and a clean, organized work environment
