Surgical Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a General | Vascular Surgical Nurse Practitioner to join a well-respected General Surgeon in an employed practice in Southern, Alabama convenient to Panama City, Florida. The Provider would work with a well-respected surgeon but would be an employee of the hospital. The Proivder will work in the clinic managing new and existing patients, assist 3 surgeons in the OR and round on pre-operative and post-op patients in the hospital. The types of surgeries would include general and peripheral vascular surgical procedures including vein care. The salary range is competitive ($95,000-$120,000+) Depending Upon Experience with incentives, $10,000 Signing Bonus, $5,000 Relocation Allowance (payable with receipts), CME of $1,500 and 2,000 for DEA, and licensure renewals and other professional fees. The Provider would receive full benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K with matching contribution. Malpractice is covered as well as a generous PTO and separate illness bank. Role:
• M-F, 7a-5p
• 1:3 weekend call requirement - will complete daily rounds and then take calls until 10pm
• Structure will be 3 APP's rotating duties equally between 3 General Surgeons and 1 Vascular Surgeon
• Majority of responsibilities will be inpatient, with occasional clinic requirements and surgery
• Duties include initial evals for new patient consults, daily and post-op rounds, eval of initial ED consults, and discharges.
