Wright Technical Services is thrilled to present an exciting opportunity for a Controls Engineer who is passionate about the food & beverage manufacturing. This is a unique opportunity for the right candidate. Highlights for this role include :

Responsibilities :

  • Develop / Install / Commission Plant Controls & Automation Systems, including PLC Programming, HMI Development & MES Data Collection.
  • Controls & Automation Systems Technical Support.
  • Design & Specification of Plant Control System Architecture, including Control Panels, Hardware and Communication Protocols.
  • Develop / Enforce Process Control Standards.
  • Partner with and direct 3rd Party Technology and Automation Partners.

    • Your Background :

  • Minimum of 5 years working within a Controls & Automation Engineering role in the Food & Beverage, Consumer Goods or similar industry.
  • Advanced Ladder Logic Programming within Allen Bradley PLCs (ControlLogix) is required.
  • Advanced HMI Development is required, preferably within Wonderware (Aveva) Archestra System Platform.
  • Experience in the Food & Beverage industry or a similar industry with high sanitary standards utilizing CIP cleaning.
  • Experience with .NET programming and SQL Databases is preferred.
  • Experience with Ethernet / IP Communication is preferred
  • Excellent formal and informal Communication Skills, Professional Attitude, and Professional Appearance.
  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an accredited university is preferred. Industry experience may be considered in absence of a degree.
  • Open to limited travel.
