$1.50 shift differential for 2-10pm shifts and a $2.25 shift differential for overnight shifts

Duties and Responsibilities :

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) , your primary responsibilities will include :

• Resident Care : Provide direct nursing care to residents according to their care plans, ensuring quality care is delivered and resident needs are met.
• Medication Administration : Administer medications as ordered, ensuring proper documentation, and observing residents for side effects or reactions.
• Nursing Procedures : Perform nursing procedures such as dressing changes, wound care, catheter care, and other clinical duties as required by the residents’ care plans.
• Monitoring Health Status : Regularly monitor and assess residents’ health status, reporting any changes to the RN, physicians, or supervisory staff.
• Collaboration with Healthcare Team : Work closely with RNs, physicians, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive, coordinated care for residents.
• Documentation : Accurately document resident care, including assessments, treatments, and any changes in condition in the resident’s medical record.
• Resident Advocacy : Act as a resident advocate by ensuring their needs and preferences are respected and addressed. Foster a positive relationship with residents and their families.
• Supervision of Nursing Assistants : Supervise and provide guidance to Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and other nursing support staff, ensuring proper care standards are maintained.
• Communication : Effectively communicate with residents, families, and staff, ensuring that all parties are informed and that care needs are being met.
• Compliance : Follow all facility policies, as well as state and federal regulations, related to nursing and resident care.
