 Salary Range : $55,000 - $65,000

Overview :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to join our accounting team in LaPorte, IN. This fully onsite role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, values accuracy, and enjoys supporting multiple areas of accounting and finance operations.

Key Responsibilities :

Post payments and maintain accurate accounts receivable records.

Support vendor management and serve as backup for accounts payable functions.

Assist with month-end close activities, journal entries, and reconciliations.

Prepare and record bank deposits and manage online banking transactions.

Oversee expense reporting and ensure compliance with company policies.

Qualifications :

Associate's degree in Accounting or related field required; Bachelor's degree preferred .

Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience in AR / AP or general accounting.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel ; experience with SAP strongly preferred.

Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and communication skills.

Team-oriented and adaptable, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
