ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Pratt, Kansas.

Work Monday through Friday from 6 : 30 AM to 3 : 00 PM

13-week assignment duration with block scheduling

Minimum 1 year of experience required

Must be proficient in orthopedics (total joints), general surgery, and obstetrics

Circulator role in operating room with 1 : 1 patient ratio

Work with patients of all age groups : infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics

Daily census of 12 patients with 5 operating rooms

Call requirements : every 5th or 6th weekend and one weekday

Special procedures include orthopedics, gynecology, podiatry, general surgery, endoscopy, and labor & delivery c-sections

Equipment experience with Hana Table required

Required certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS

Kansas nursing license required (in hand or compact at submission)

Skills required include fire safety, cell saver, blood product administration, infection control, laser safety, radiation safety, specimen handling, wound management, and various surgical procedures

8 hours of orientation provided

May float to different units as needed

Pre-approved time off : two instances allowed

Flu vaccine required with no exemptions

One reference required for submission

The facility features a modern 5-room operating suite equipped with specialized equipment including Hana Tables for orthopedic procedures. The hospital offers interdisciplinary support services including physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary support to ensure comprehensive patient care.
