Staff Accountant

General Ledger Accountant

It is the responsibility of the general ledger accountant to reconcile various balance sheet accounts. This position must also exhibit a high level of professional and personalized guest service that embodies the Company's brand standard and core values (K.E.E.P. Kindness, Engagement, Empathy, and Positivity).

Responsibilities:

• Reconciling bank statements to General Ledger
• Recording all wire transfers
• Handling all daily banking activity
• Assisting in recording month end close journal entries
• Reconciling fixed assets accounts (CIP)
• Performing other duties and responsibilities as requested

Qualifications:

Ability to operate 10 key calculator, computer, telephone, binding machine, and photocopy machine. Ability to lift bound computer reports weighing up to 20 lbs. 2 years college or solid 2 to 3 years working experience in Accounting Department. Minimum age requirement is 18. Must possess basic mathematical skills to include ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide specific to position responsibilities.
