Texas Healthcare Construction Project Manager

We're proud to partner with this reputable and progressive Dallas-based General Contractor who's been delivering quality healthcare projects throughout Texas for over 50 years. They emphasize flexibility and work-life balance (previously unheard of in healthcare construction) for employees while cultivating a high performance environment that has won them many awards across both employee and client satisfaction. They're looking for a Project Manager to take care of their Specialized Healthcare Construction projects who is service-oriented, curious, and appreciates innovation.

Job Description

The successful Project Manager will :

  • Lead project management efforts while coordinating with client, architects, and engineers
  • Assist in potential business development meetings and proposals
  • Lead from the front to maintain their positive office culture
  • Creates and reviews project schedules
  • Partner with client from preconstruction phase through closeout
  • Develops relationships with clients, architects, engineers and subcontractors
  • Handle forecasting and estimating costs while making changes to costs for project completion
  • Ensure safety protocols are being adhered to on the job site

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience with a large, reputable general contractor
  • Bachelor's degree in construction field preferred but relevant experience accepted
  • Experience leading and assisting on healthcare construction projects
  • Positive attitude & able to effectively communicate
  • Exemplifies good leadership qualities and characteristics
  • Knowledge of budgeting, scheduling, materials, and local subcontractors
  • Previous mentorship experience is a strong plus

    • What's on Offer

  • $130k - $160k Base Salary (dependent on tenure, projects, and overall experience)
  • Promotions assessed twice per year
  • Two-tiered bonus structure paid out twice per year
  • Company allowance(s) (truck allowance [$800 / month], tech package, gas card & toll tag)
  • Unlimited PTO
  • 401k
  • Hybrid flexibility dependent on project size
