Associate Interior Designer – Business of Home

Pure Salt Interiors is looking for an Associate Interior Designer to support the Principal Designer and draft high quality design solutions for client projects in Newport Beach, CA. This full‑time, exempt position offers a salary range of $70,000 to $100,000 per year.

Responsibilities

Lead client projects from concept through completion, ensuring design quality and client satisfaction.

Mentor and guide junior team members; delegate tasks effectively and monitor progress.

Prepare polished design decks and present concepts, anticipating client questions and providing clear explanations.

Produce highly detailed SketchUp models, troubleshoot workflows and train team members on best practices.

Draft detailed, professional proposals and manage project documentation and client communications.

Lead client meetings, manage expectations, timelines, and deliver solutions to challenges.

Manage material pulls and selections; educate clients on materials and finishes.

Order materials and samples, coordinate with finance and logistics, and track project expenses.

Qualifications

Experience in interior design, proficiency in SketchUp, strong communication skills, and a passion for elevated, thoughtful design.
