Locum Tenens Psychiatrist Opportunity - Near Winston-Salem, NC

We are seeking a board-certified Psychiatrist for a locum tenens opportunity near Winston-Salem, NC. This is a great opportunity to work in a supportive environment with experienced staff. The position requires coverage on a scheduled basis with no call responsibilities, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule.

Support Staff :

• 3 APPs in UC / observation unit
• Either an APP or resident in the FBC
• APP in each ED unit

Work Responsibilities :

• Electronic Medical Record (EMR)

Tele-psych capabilities available

• Average Patient Load

Group size : 6 patients

• Urgent care : 10-20 patients daily
• Patient Age Group

UC : Ages 5 and above

• Patients under 16 requiring observation or FBC services will be referred to another facility nearby.

Requirements :

• Board Certification

Psychiatry required

• State License

North Carolina

• Certifications

BLS and DEA required

• Experience

Must be comfortable triaging children and adolescents.

• Vaccinations
