Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for an Associate Quality Systems Specialist to join our Core Quality team in San Antonio Texas . In this role the selected candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of Quality Management System (QMS) compliance and auditing / surveillance techniques. The work will be highly task based and will require flexibility curiosity collaboration and ability to influence outcomes with data and planned actions.

Position Responsibilities :

• Performs analysis to identify and evaluate the quality of products operations and processes to Quality Management System requirements applicable company procedures contract requirements or government regulations.
• Works collaboratively to improve site surveillance and audit approaches.
• Executes site surveillance plan and influences future surveillance plans.
• Interfaces with Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) Government Ground Representative (GGR) and Government Flight Representative (GFR) to understand customer concerns and implement plans to mitigate them.
• Independently develops modifies and documents actions to assure problem resolution or to implement corrective / preventive action and documents resolution.
• Obtains corrective action on nonconforming plans and hardware / processes.
• Reviews and validates the corrective action plans and measures plan effectiveness to ensure completion.
• Interprets industry standards and provide recommendations for implementation.
• Works under direct supervision.
