Corporate Controller
The Corporate Controller acts as a strategic financial partner to the CFO and is responsible for the global accounting function including driving value creation, financial reporting and implementing financial processes and tools to support the Company's long-term strategy. The Corporate Controller serves as a technical accounting resource. The Corporate Controller also performs analysis of financial results, oversees budgeting and forecasting, maintains the integrity of the accounting systems and internal control environment and ensures financial statements are prepared in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Key responsibilities also include leading the FP&A and accounting team in accurate and timely consolidation of month-end results, publication of monthly financial statements and supporting budget / forecasting and strategic planning processes. This role is involved in the external financial reporting process (SEC reporting) and must provide pro-active financial analysis to drive business results.
Other duties include designing and implementing improvements in financial processes to meet the Company's continuous improvement initiatives, The Corporate Controller is an integral part of the overall corporate finance team (US and MX) and is involved in many cross departmental and strategic initiatives of the Company. The successful candidate must be self-motivated, have strong problem solving and interpersonal skills and excel in a dynamic and transformational environment. The Corporate Controller will also need to be able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, delegate responsibilities, develop the team, be detail oriented and hands-on, while also being a positive change agent.
