2nd Shift Inspector

We are currently seeking a reliable candidate WITH A BACKGROUND IN TEXTILES for an Inspector position for our client located in Winston-Salem, NC!

***2nd SHIFT , 3pm-11pm***

Essential Functions and Key Result Areas:
1. Keep the area around the machine clean and safe to work in
2. Pin in full A-frames after material handler has delivered to frame
3. Verify that ticket pattern and fabric pattern match using the reference swatches
4. Set the specified roll length into the metering devices
5. Attach fabric to cardboard core with tape cross full width of the fabric
6. Inspect the fabric as it is rolled onto a cardboard core to specified length
7. Monitor the exact width and record in the SAP
8. Flag all defects and record in SAP
9. Remove sewn seams and pattern/ticket changes making two part piece
10. Wrap the piece with plastic wrap
11. Record the required data in the SAP, and properly identify the pieces with printed labels at the end
of each roll
12. Wire tie both ends of the plastic wrap
13. Deliver inspected samples to the sample room
14. Clean the frames at least once per week at end of shift
15. Other duties, as assigned.

Educational Requirements:
High school diploma / GED

• Stand for long periods of time on concrete floors
• Use scissors, tape gun, and computer
• Subject to seasonal extreme temperatures
