Technical skills : Proficiency in writing SQL queries is essential. Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus. Soft skills : Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build strong working relationships. Accountability : A demonstrated history of taking ownership of tasks and projects from inception to completion. Problem-solving : A very strong analytical mindset with a passion for solving complex business problems.
This is day 1 onsite to Minneapolis with 4 days commute to office.

Business Systems Analyst (Financial Services)
Position overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Business Systems Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, leveraging a strong data analysis background to drive key decisions and system enhancements. This role requires excellent communication skills, a proactive attitude toward problem-solving, and a high degree of accountability.
Key responsibilities
- Requirements analysis and documentation : Collaborate with business stakeholders across finance, risk, and operations to gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
- Data discovery and analysis : Conduct in-depth data discovery to understand data flows, identify key trends, and validate data integrity. Use insights to support business objectives and pinpoint opportunities for process improvement.
- SQL expertise : Write and execute basic to intermediate SQL queries to extract, analyze, and manipulate data for reporting, troubleshooting, and ad-hoc requests.
- Data integrity and accountability : Take ownership of data quality issues by investigating root causes and collaborating with technical teams to implement and track solutions.
- Analytical problem-solving : Apply strong analytical skills to evaluate complex business challenges and identify effective, data-driven solutions.
- Communication and stakeholder management : Act as a key liaison between business and IT teams. Clearly and concisely communicate technical specifications, project status, and data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Process improvement : Analyze existing business systems and workflows to identify inefficiencies, suggest improvements, and develop detailed specifications for enhancements.
- Testing and support : Participate in the testing of new or enhanced system functionalities, ensuring they align with business requirements. Provide ongoing support for system issues, and escalate as necessary.
