High Point University, Student Success is seeking a Department Administrator and Data Analyst. The position provides administrative support and planning for the programs, activities, and services of the Office of Student Success and students in the program. - Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in appropriate discipline required
Experience and Training :

Provides support to the Office of Student Success professionals. Support includes, but not limited to : typing correspondence and e-mails, data entry, development of cohort spreadsheets, analyzation of cohort information, and other duties as assigned and appropriate.Provides support for Freshman Orientation events including corresponding with stakeholders regarding the events, working with Admissions for room assignments, maintaining the data related to events (Excel sheet of students aligned to major and maintaining changes).Provides support for Student Success including assisting with the academic planning of students in a variety of majors.Provides support for Student Success related to the effective implementation of Colleague, Starfish & Student Planning.Provides support for Student Success related to the effective implementation of our First Year Navigator Program.Maintains Student Success email account.Maintains accurate lists of students aligned to majors and Success Coaches.Maintains informational resource display with current material for students & Success Coaches.Provides support for Student Success related to transfer of students from Success Coaches to faculty advisors.Provides support for Student Success related to transfer of students from faculty advisors to Success Coaches.Processes and emails "Academic Program Notification Change" requests for major / minor changes to students and designated stakeholders.Processes Course Proposals for incoming students and distributes to Success Coaches for schedule creation.Picks up and processes mail for the department; delivers information across campus to appropriate offices; picks up / delivers printing from the Print Shop; handles other clerical needs as assigned and appropriate.Completes and processes requisitions and purchase orders as requested for the department including office supplies and Budd Services.Assists with various events and activities including, but not limited to, mass mailings and assembling folders as assigned and appropriate.Maintains positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating effectively with students, students' parents, faculty, co-workers and others.Corresponds with stakeholders, as appropriate, in a professional and confidential manner.Provides telephone support service for Student Success.Provides support for organizing events through Outlook Calendar.Serves as Building Manager for Cottrell HallOther duties assigned and appropriate to the service of the University.ACCOUNTABILITY :
