Engineering Manager

A company is looking for a Manager of Engineering (Remote).

Key Responsibilities :

Shape the technical direction of the program and manage customer relationships from a technical perspective

Provide coaching and development to engineering team members while defining growth goals and development plans

Plan and deliver complex projects, proactively identify risks, and communicate program progress and obstacles

Required Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of experience, with relevant experience substitutable for education

Expertise / experience in Java and Kafka

2+ years of people management experience and 3+ years of directing assignments for cross-functional teams

Extensive experience with software development and mentorship

General understanding of government contracting requirements and regulations is preferred
