Security Officer - Logistics Facility Rounds

As a Security Officer - Logistics Facility Rounds in Palmetto, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol logistics and distribution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents through routine patrols and a visible presence. You will interact with staff and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location as well as its perimeter to help to deter potential issues.
  • Monitor and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Support access control procedures by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points as required by site policies.
  • Communicate clearly with team members, site staff, and visitors to address questions and provide assistance as needed.
  • Document observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
