Senior Backend Engineer

A company is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer (Python / AI Search).

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain robust backend services for an AI-powered search platform

Develop RESTful APIs for frontend applications and downstream services

Implement retrieval-augmented generation workflows and optimize backend systems for performance

Required Qualifications

Strong professional experience building backend systems using Python

Hands-on experience with vector data, embeddings, and similarity search concepts

Familiarity with retrieval-augmented generation or similar AI-driven data retrieval patterns

Experience integrating cloud-based machine learning or AI platforms into production applications

Solid understanding of API design, data pipelines, and backend performance optimization
