Interim System Director of Nutrition Services Needed in Memphis, TN

The Position

An interim system director of nutrition services is needed to oversee and standardize nutrition and dietary services across a multi hospital system in Memphis.

Reporting to the senior director of professional services, this leader will oversee a team of 20 FTEs.

Key responsibilities include leading clinical nutrition and dietary operations across sites, as well as assessing the team, operations, policies, and procedures, and making recommendations for improvement.

The ideal candidate will have strong clinical nutrition experience in complex hospital settings, demonstrated leadership and mentoring ability, high emotional intelligence, team-building skills, and the capacity to quickly assess operations, implement improvements, and foster a supportive, collaborative culture.

Must be available to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in nutrition services, dietetics, dietary management, or a related field; a master's degree is highly preferred.

Active registered dietitian / nutritionist license.

Must have progressive experience in clinical nutrition leadership within acute care or hospital settings; experience managing complex inpatient nutrition services is required.

Compensation Details

Compensation Range : $155,000 to $165,000 annually.

The final compensation rate will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations, in accordance with fair market value evaluation. Additionally, some candidates may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, depending on the specific role, including but not limited to health insurance coverage and retirement benefits.

The listed base compensation range represents a good faith estimate of potential earnings at the time of this job posting and may be subject to future adjustments.
