West Lake Animal Hospital is hiring a Veterinary Technician!

Position Details

Role : Experienced or Licensed Veterinary Technician / Assistant
Status : Full-time
Salary : $19.00 - $21.00 per hour; negotiable and based on experience
Schedule : Monday through Thursday, 7am - 5pm or 8am - 5 : 30pm

What Our Veterinary Technicians Bring

Critical thinking, curiosity, and a can-do attitude

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

A compassionate approach to patient and client care

At least one year of hands-on experience with :

Jugular, cephalic, and saphenous blood draws

IV catheter placement and fluid therapy

Surgical assistance : intubation, prep, anesthesia monitoring, and post-op care

Calculating and administering anesthetics and medications

Taking quality radiographs (Cuattro HD DR digital)

Performing dental cleanings and dental radiographs

Answering phones, scheduling appointments, and delivering exceptional client service

Bonus Points If You Have :

Experience with Cornerstone software

Familiarity with Heska blood analyzers

Spanish fluency
